Ok..My thoughts on the contestants...
Tom Chambers (4/1)
No idea who he was until I googled him as an Holby City actor. Surpirsed at the odds (backed in to 4/1 favourite) but I guess Stereo's comments above explain that.. (Deja vu about Chrs Fountain come to mind..) No doubt will do well. Do they want a winner with dancing experience?
Rachel Stevens (6/1)

Any swingers out there? As you might have guessed from the title, this is a bet offered by Totesport. It's started this week and it's called the swinger because that's what they call it in Australia.
Basically, you pick two horses in any race with 6 or more runners and your horses have to both finish in the first three places to win your bet. I haven't had a chance to see this bet in action but I would have thought the odds in a six runner race would be pretty shit to be honest. I'll have a good look at this bet tomorrow and report back here.

Bath is a racecourse where course form is crucial to me. Here in the Roman town the racecourse is sat upon a hill with very unusual conditions. The course is an undulating circuit with a final straight of about 3-4 furlongs.
So lets look through one of the races.
4.40
Course winners = Lancaster Lad
Course performers = Jollyhockeysticks (2 seconds on last 2 visits) Bramalea (Placed in 1 of 2 runs at the track) Tampopo (5th on only visit)
Course disappointers - Jay Gee Wigmo, Nikolaievich, Bauhaus Bourbon

First one, Banks O'Dee, Scottish Junior side playing in the Scottish Cup. Think Hills go 2/7 this one so Laddies 1/2 is a decent price.
